Inhoud

De onderwijskwalificatie omvat de domeinspecifieke leerresultaten zoals gevalideerd door de NVAO op 22/06/2022 en daar gekend onder referentie DL471.

De domeinspecifieke leerresultaten zijn:

1.

Multi-disciplinary knowledge and insight into sports ethical theory and integrity issues, their global significance, and cross-cultural peculiarities.

2.

Knowledge and multidisciplinary research skills in analyzing, applying and evaluating sports ethics and integrity issues.

3.

Deeply rooted skills, attitudes and capacities to engage in sophisticated conceptual thinking and complex case analysis.

4.

Ability to communicate in a professional, theoretically informed, manner utilizing appropriate forms of information technology.

5.

Understanding social dynamics in terms of demographic categories (eg ability, age, class, gender, ethnicity) and their role in sports ethics and integrity issues.

6.

Professional skills and motivation to improve the ethical climate of a variety of sporting environments and organizational entities to introduce structures, processes and instruments of integrity management.

7.

Methodological insight and awareness in analyzing and systematically tackling major ethical and integrity issues (eg doping, corruption, match fixing, violence, discrimination, harassment and abuse).

8.

Ability to balance ‘value-based approaches’ and ‘rules-based approaches’ to ethical development in sport and its regulation.

9.

Foster the abilities to contribute to the development of the newly created profession of ‘sports integrity’, and raise the moral awareness of sport organisations, through education and compliance practices and mechanisms.
